Description of the Experiment
The experimental set-up consists of one coil connected to a 120V source which will provide an alternating current. The second coil is connected to a light bulb. Predict what will happen to the light bulb if the second coil is placed down around the first coil. Also predict what will happen to the bulb if the second coil is held just above the first coil. Compare this situation to the first situation.
