Rising Steam Bubbles During Boiling: Observation Experiment
Aim
Observe steam bubbles rising through a beaker of water as it boils.
Prior Knowledge
- Gas Laws.
Description of the Experiment
A beaker of water is filmed boiling on a gas stove. Observe the behaviour of the steam bubbles as they rise and propose a model to explain what you see. Notice how different this is from the previous video.
