Ball in a cup: Testing Experiment

Description of the Experiment

A ball is placed on a golf tee attached to the end of a plank on a hinge. The plank is proped up at an angle. A pole holding up the plank is suddenly removed and the plank is allowed to fall. Predict where the ball will land. Make sure you do not watch the video before you make a prediction. After you have written down you prediction with the explanation, watch the video. What are the discrepancies between your prediction and the outcome of the experiment? Revise your original explanation.

For a successful prediction, use a protractor and a ruler.
